Born in Frostburg, Md., July 17, 1909, she was a daughter of the late Thomas G. and Margaret (McKinnon) Lloyd. She was a 1929 graduate of Frostburg State Teachers College and was employed as a school teacher from graduation until 1972. She taught the primary grades at three Carron County schools. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Door To Virtue Lodge 94; the Republican Women's Club, Westminster; And was a Sunday School teacher and deacon at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Westminster. She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Patricia A. Wilhelm, Westminster; Mrs. Roberta K. Cocklin, Vilseck, West Germany; a brother, Arthur Lloyd, Frostburg; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Chaney, Grantsville, Md.; and five grandchildren. Friends were received at the Myers Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster. Services were conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at the St. Paul's United Church of Christ by Pastor Michael O. Simmons.
