  RUGG
  
  Herbert Rugg, 69, of Nemacolin, formerly of Confluence, died Aug. 24,
  1994, at Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg.  Born May 11,
  1925, in Confluence, a son of the late Aaron and Hannah Mae (Johnson)
  Rugg.  Preceded in death by wife, Virginia (Smith); a son, Terry, and
  two sisters: Celia Olsen and Verna Mae Rugg.  Survived by two
  daughters: Bertha Mae Lancaster of Confluence and Betty Hartman of
  Wilmington, Del., and two sons: Herbert Jr. of Fort Hill and John of
  Carmichaels; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four
  brothers: Aaron and Lloyd, both of Washington, Pa.; Harry of
  Confluence, and Floyd of Boston, Mass., and a sister, Mary McClintock
  of Imperial.  Member of UMWA.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.
  Friday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, with Rev.
  Thomas Charles officiating.  Interment, Maple Summit Cemetery.
