She was born May 13, 1930, in Dunbar, a daughter of the late Richard and Ellen (Beck) Anderson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by brothers, Milton Hendrickson and Robert Anderson, and a sister, May (Hendrickson) Foust. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 59 years, Lloyd Franklin Rugg; daughters, Shirley Metheney and husband Bill, Ursina; Karen Fike and fiancee John "Cub" Lichty, Addison; and son, William Rugg and wife, Tina, Garrett; grandchildren, Chris Hoover and husband, Greg; Mike Metheney and wife, Lisa; Chad and Kayla Rugg; and great-grandchildren Katie, Molly and Emily Hoover and Joshua, Hannah and Abbie Metheney. Also a brother, Bernard Anderson and wife Eldora, Markleysburg; and sisters, Virginia Deal, Addison, and Viola Hyatt, Confluence. Also numerous nieces, nephews and friends and a dear friend Grace Rugg and good neighbor Roger Goller. She was a member of the Kingwood Church of God. She worked at the turnpike Howard Johnson's as a cook and for 33 years at DeVilbiss Sunrise Medical. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed working in her flower garden, drives in the country and playing with all her little angels (grandchildren and great-grandchildren). Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence. Funeral service will be held Saturday 1 p.m. at the Kingwood Church of God. The Rev. James Monticue and the Rev. Paul Tobias officiating. Interment Addison Cemetery.
