  THORNTON RUGG 
  
  Thornton Rugg, 90, of Ursina, died Jan. 8, 1972, at his home.  Born
  July 12, 1881, in Maple Summit, he was a son of Aaron and Caroline
  (Linderman) Rugg.  Surviving are the following children: Lloyd of
  Ursina; James, Confluence RD 2; Wilbert, Mill Run; Mrs. Alice
  Harbaugh, Confluence; Mrs. Grace Basinger and Mrs. Florence Ream,
  both of Mill Run; Mrs. Annie Williams, Connellsville; and Mrs. Amanda
  Dyson, Conemaugh; also 39 grandchildren, 109 great-grandchildren and
  20 great-great-grandchildren.  Friends were received in Humbert
  Funeral Home, Confluence, until Tuesday afternoon, when the body was
  removed to Maple Summit Church for funeral service in charge of Rev.
  Paul Tobias.  Interment in the Church cemetery.
