Rullo, 80, Hollsopple, Conemaugh Township, died April 17, 2008, at Somerset Hospital. Born April 6, 1928, in Hollsopple, son of Constantino "Andy" and Amelia (Liberato) Rullo. Preceded in death by parents and brother-in-law, Eugene L. Donati. Survived by wife of 58 years, the former Esther L. Donati; children, attorney Daniel W., married to Jean Stevens, Somerset; Janette, married to Ray Cowan, Westmont; Robert R., married to Anne Malloy, Los Altos, Calif.; and James A., Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Allison and Adam Rullo; Matthew and Jennifer Cowan; Stephanie, Joanna, Richard and Anneli Rullo; and Gabrielle Rullo; brother, William, married to Helen Dill, Conemaugh Township; sisters-in-law, Betty (Gray) Donati, Windber; and Dolores (Donati), married to David Maldet, Davidsville; and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1946 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School, Davidsville. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served as a photographer stationed in Coco Beach, Fla., now Cape Canaveral. Member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville, which he helped design and construct on land he and Esther donated. Also a member of Johnstown Council 467 Knights of Columbus, where he was a Third Degree Knight. Former member of Somerset County Builders Association, Conemaugh Township Planning Commission and Somerset County Development Council. Owner of the former Brunos store in Hollsopple from 1950 to 1976 and also was a land developer of multiple area commercial buildings. Viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville, where vigil for the deceased will be held Sunday afternoon and K of C rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anne Church, the Rev. Father Michael Lewandowski, OFM, Conv., celebrant. Committal, Grandview Cemetery, with graveside military rites in charge of Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Respiratory Therapy, in care of Somerset Hospital, Somerset, PA 15501 or Respiratory Therapy, in care of Mount Aloysius College, 7373 Admiral Peary Highway, Cresson, PA 16630.
