  Cora G. (Gashaw) Rummel, 102, Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Hollsopple
  RD, died June 28, 2000 in Arizona.  Born Oct. 1, 1897 in Jenner
  Township, daughter of Isaac A. and Gurtha (Rogers) Gashaw.  Preceded
  in death by parents, husband of 61 years, the Rev. William D. Rummel,
  on July 3, 1980, sister Grace and brothers Dwight, Charles and Edwin.
  Survived by these children: Sara R., wife of Paul Speicher, Sun City;
  Mary Jane, wife of Herold Griffith, Modesto, Calif.; Dr. David and
  wife Wanda, Prescott, Ariz.; and Dr. John and wife Judy, Houston,
  Texas, 11 grandchildren, 21 greatgrandchildren and sister Mabel
  Fisher, Johnstown.  Member of First United Methodist Church, Sun City.
  Former member of the Maple Spring Church of the Brethren near Jerome
  and along with her husband, had been very active in many area
  Churches of the Brethren.  Friends and family are invited to the
  funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday at Maple Spring Church, the Rev.
  Roger L. Forry officiating.  Interment, church cemetery.  Arrangements
  in charge of Hoffman Funeral Home, Davidsville.  In lieu of flowers,
  memorials may be given to the charity of choice.
