"Mork" Rummel, 77, of Hooversville, died Dec. 4, 2003, at Lee Hospital. Born Feb. 9, 1926 in Nanty Glo. Son of Logan and Margaret (Stombaugh) Rummel. Preceded in death by parents; daughter Elizabeth Jean May and granddaughter Melissa Sue. Survived by wife, Pearl M., and these children: Robert L. and wife Gloria, Latrobe, James R. and wife Cathy, Hagerstown, Md., Charles Edward and wife Linda, Johnstown, Twila M. married to Bobby Lambert, Shanksville and Edward Lee, Hooversville. Also survived by these stepchildren: Brian Swope, Linda Monteith, Dorothy LaBryer, Pearl Teets and Starla O'Rourke; 29 grandchildren, oldest grandson Markie Monteith and 16 great-grandchildren. Brother of Delbert Logan and wife Marlene, Beaverdale. Army veteran of World War II. Pastor who served many nondenominational churches and a retired coal miner. No viewing or receiving of friends.
