  Patricia Ann (Walker) Rummel, 47, of Flora Street, Friedens died Jan.
  14. 2000 at Somerset Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer.
  Born Dec. 2, 1952 in Jerome, daughter of Alfred M. and Velma Joan
  (Kimmel) Walker.  Preceded in death by mother and son, Clifford Scott
  Rummel, Jan. 17, 1998.  Survived by father and stepmother, Marie,
  Shanksville; daughters Michelle (Lape) Stevanus, Hooversville and
  Melissa, at home; four grandchildren, Charles, Amber, Aleisha, and
  Cathrine; former husband Clifford A. Rummel and former father and
  mother-in-law, Clifford E. and Mary Jane Rummel, all of Fort Myers,
  Fla; best friends Karen and Marty Walat, Stoystown RD, and numerous
  other friends and family.  A 1972 graduate of North Star High School.
  A former employee of Giant Eagle, Route 31 West, Somerset, and
  recently self-employed in the cleaning business.  Friends received from
  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main St.
  Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Russ
  Kessler officiating.  Interment Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.  A memorial
  service will also be held at 7 p.m. Friday Jan. 21 at the Heritage
  Baptist Church, Route 281, north of Somerset, across from the county
  airport.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to a trust fund
  for Pat's daughter, Melissa, care of Lori Dooley, U.S. Bank, 108 W.
  Main St., Somerset, 15501.
