  RUMMEL
  
  Samuel Lester Rummel, 83, of Hollsopple RD 1 died Oct. 11, 1995, at
  Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born Sept. 5, 1912, in Conemaugh
  Township, Somerset County.  Son of Herman A. and Lucy A. (Speigle)
  Rummel.  Preceded in death by parents and infant sister Annie.
  Survived by wife, the former Ruby D. Ott, and these children: Thelma
  F., wife of Thomas D. Keim, of Hollsopple RD 2; Herman W., married to
  the former Carlotta Cannin, of Hollsopple RD 1; Beverly L. Rummel of
  Blairsville; Alan L., married to the former Flora Miller, of
  Hollsopple RD 1; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. No
  living brothers and sisters. Lifelong member of Maple Spring Church
  of the Brethren. Celebrated 60th wedding anniversary on June 23.
  Retired dairy farmer.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Friday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville.
  Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Maple Spring Church of
  the Brethren, where remains will lie in state from 1 p.m. until time
  of service, the Rev. Beverly Good officiating.  Interment, church
  cemetery.
