  Helen A. (Nosal) Runtz, 54, Kein St., Jerome, died morning of Oct 25,
  1982, at Windber Hospital Born Sept. 3, 1928, in Jerome, she was a
  daughter of Stanley and Mary (Krystynick) Nosal.  Preceded in death by
  parents; stepfather, Frank Zabo; and brother, Edward.  Survived by
  husband, Bernard F.  She was a sister of Josephine, widow of Michael
  Holoka; Wanda, wife of Michael Phillips; Willard, married to the
  former Emma June Niceili; and Frances, wife of Joseph Badaczewski,
  all of Jerome; Walter, married to the former Ruth Bittner, Chagrin
  Falls, Ohio; and Stella, wife of Paul Smith, Butler RD 3.  Member of
  Holy Cross Catholic Church, Jerome; church altar society; Cambria and
  Somerset County Tavern Associations; S.N.P.J. Lodge No. 289, Tire
  Hill; auxiliaries to Jerome Post 802, American Legion and Jerome
  Volunteer Fire Departmemt; and Jerome Nest 556, Polish Falcons of
  America. Owned and operated Zabo's Tavern, Jerome, for many years.
  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, and from 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
  Wednesday at the late residence where wake service will be held at
  7:30 p.m. Wednesday.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday at
  Holy Cross Church, with the Rev. Francis Lombardo, O.F.M., Cony.
  Interment, church cemetery.  Arrangements by Hoffman Funeral Homes,
  Boswell.
