  Reba Garnet Rush, 81, of Confluence, died Nov. 4, 2000 at Patriot
  Manor, Somerset.  She was born Jan 26, 1919 in Confluence, a daughter
  of Samuel M. and Gertrude (Conn) Firestone.  She was preceded in death
  by parents; husbands Earl J. Peters and Thomas C. Rush; an infant
  sister Leora, and a brother Ray Firestone.  She is survived by three
  daughters, Bernice and her husband Jan Snyder of Confluence; Garnet
  and her husband Dean Dennis of Markleysburg; and Audrey and her
  husband Randy Close of Somerset;, nine grandchildren; 13 great
  grandchildren; one great-greatgrandson; and a sister Virginia Ruth
  Anderson of Windber.  She was a Methodist by faith and a member of
  Confluence VFW Post 7250 Ladies Auxiliary.  Friends will be received
  from 2-9 p.m. Monday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where
  services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday with the Rev. Arthur J.
  Gotjen officiating.  Interment in Jersey Cemetery.  Family suggests
  memorial contributions to Somerset In Touch Hospice.
