  RUSH
  
  Sarah Jane Rush, 99, of Confluence RD 1, died April 4, 1993, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Aug. 1, 1893, at Maple Summit, a daughter of
  the late Samuel and Louisa (Rose) Thomas.  Preceded in death by her
  husband, William Harrison Rush, and five children: William Jr.,
  Benjamin, Richard, Amos Abel, and Janet Evelyn; three brothers, a
  sister and two grandchildren.  Surviving are three daughters: Clara
  Cannon and Millicent Rush, both of Confluence, and Leora Lytle of
  Baltimore, Md.; two sons, Lawrence of Deer Park, Md., and Roger of
  Scottdale; 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and one
  great-great-grandchild.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.
  today and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral
  Home, Confluence, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, the
  Rev. John H. Snyder officiating.  Interment, Jersey Cemetery.
