Russler, who celebrated her 104th birthday March 19, died April 7, 1982 in the Cumberland Nursing Home, in Md. She formerly resided at 15 Virginia Avenue. A native of Meyersdale, she was a daughter of the late John Bisel and Anna (Wingert) Bisel. Her husband, Nelson W. Russler, who owned a music store on Virgninia Avenue for many years, died Aug. 13, 1957. She was an avid baseball fan and was visited on many occasions by Brooks Robinson of the Baltimore Orioles. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Sodality and was a past president of Sacred Heart Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Carmelita Mamajek, Cumberland; two nephews, Louis E. Martin, Cumberland; and J. William Lee, LaVale. Friends were received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home.
