Andrew Shaffer, aged eighty-two years, died at the home of his son, Melker
Shaffer, in Paint town►hip, on Wednesday last from Bright's disease. Mr.
Shaffer
was born in the township in which he died. The deceased was married twice, his
first wife having died about twenty years ago. He is survived by his widow and
ten children, several of whom are well-known residents of the north of the
county, while the wrest reside in western states.
