The Somerset Herald Wed Dec 06 1893
Mrs. Mary Shaffer, wife of Samuel Shaffer, aged about 65 years, of Berlin, died
at her home in that borough Monday morning from gangrene. The deceased was well
known throughout the county. She was a sister of Capt. John H. Hite, Mrs. Noah
Bowman, and Mrs. Levi Shaffer, of Stoystown, and Mrs. J. H. Zimmerman, of
Somerset, all of whom, with her husband and only daughter Mrs. Dr. Musser, of
Berlin, survive har.
