The funeral of Israel Shockey was conducted by Revs. Johnson, Hochstetler, and
Mankamyer. It was well attended, deceased was 59 years of age. Interment in
 Hochstetler Cemetery.

The following resolution of respect to the memory of the late Israel Shockey, of
Greenville Township, were sent to this office for publication. Mr. Shockey was a
devoted member of the Greenville Lutheran Church, and served three years during
the Civil War, a member of Company G, 54th Regiment, Pa. Vols...
