Sabella, 76, 1403 Chestnut Ave., Barnesboro, died Nov. 3, 1987, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born May 5, 1911, in Wharton, daughter of the late Luigi and Mary (Rotunda) Caliguri. Preceded in death by husband, Romeo M., who died Feb. 8, 1974, after 47 years of marriage; daughter, Dolly; brothers, Frank and Joseph Caliguri, and Leonard and Nickie Panaro; also son-in-law, Louis B. Chervenak. Survived by daughters, Miss Mary Lou "Tootsie," at home; Dolores, wife of Hal Hoover, Patton; Carolyn, wife of Daniel R. Ceccoli, Hastings; Theresa, wife of John J. Golias, Johnstown; and E. Honey, widow of Louis B. Chervenak, Jennerstown; also grandchildren, Dana and Michael Hoover, Angela Ceccoli and Brian Golias. Sister of: Ralph Caliguri, Brooklyn, N.Y. Life-time member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and Sons of Italy Ladies Lodge. Friends will be received from 2-4:30 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Long Golden Rule Funeral Home, Barnesboro, where scriptural wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday. Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, the Revs. Adelburt Wolski and Nicholas Mancini, Monsignour John Golias and the Revs. Bonaventure Medile and Thomas Florentine.
