Sablotski, 62, Summerhill, died June 27, 2007, at home. Born May 5, 1945, in Johnstown, son of Fred G. and Hilda (Pentek) Sablotski. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by loving wife of 39 years, Susan (Borelle) Sablotski, Summerhill, whom he married Nov. 18, 1967; daughters, Donna, wife of Jeffrey Hatison, Jerome; Lynne, wife of Douglas Horne, Berlin; Carla Wess, Somerset; beloved "Pappy" to four beautiful grandchildren, Mackenzie and Zane Horne, Robert Mills, and Luke Wess; sister, Donna, wife of Lester Gerber, Parkhill, Pa., and Mineral, Va.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ron was a foreman at Penn Machine Co. in Ferndale. He served with the Navy on the USS Albany in the Atlantic Fleet during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Summerhill, where he served on the church council; and was a member of Masonic Lodge 312, Ebensburg. He was also a member of Summerhill Borough Council; Laurel Run Rod and Gun Club; St. Michael American Legion Post 551; USSCO Credit Union and their advisory board; and Summerhill Volunteer Fire Co. Ron enjoyed many hours hunting and fishing with friends and family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork. A Masonic service will be con-ducted by Summit Lodge F&AM of Ebensburg. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church. The Rev. Bill Coleman officiating. Interment Richland Cemetery. Military graveside service by St. Michael American Legion.
