Sacco, 74, Confluence, died Feb. 20, 1998, at his residence. Born April 17, 1923, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Roger and Cecelia (Ninlist) Sacco. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sally (Wood) Sacco and a brother, Roger T. Sacco. Survived by a son, Joseph D. Jr. and his wife, Lauri, Wantagh, N.Y.; two daughters: Pamela M. Sacco and her husband, Anthony DeSilva, Columbus, Ohio; and Sandra L. Sacco and her fiance, Donald Fazenbaker, Confluence; also a brother, Sylvester Sacco and wife, Ruth, Cheswick, and a sister, Delores Sedlac, Wilkinsburg. He was a member of the Cannonsburg F.O.E. and the Confluence V.F.W. Post 7250. He owned and operated the Monterrey Restaurant in Washington, Pa. from 1955 to 1988, at which time he relocated to Confluence and continued to operate the restaurant under the same name until the time of his death. Friends will be received from 2 until 9 p.m. Sunday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. A. Merl Calkins officiating.
