Born March 23, 1928 in Cairnbrook, the son of John and Anna (Michalec) Sadlon. Preceded in death by parents, sister Christine and infant brother Eddie. Survived by wife the former Beatrice Chapman Richards and these children: Leroy (Sandy) Richards, Uniontown; Linda (Jan) Hoffman, Stoystown; Vicki (William) Donnelly, Mississippi; Daniel Richards, Texas, and Robert of Cairnbrook. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Brother of Anna Sadlon, Mildred Sadlon, Betty Moshopoulos, and John Sadlon. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and member of Graef Lutheran Church. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Pastor James McCormick officiating.
