  George W. Sadowsky, 76, 218 Susquehanna Street, Boswell, died Jan. 9,
  1988 at Memorial Hospital.  Born Jan. 11, 1911 in Boswell.  Survived
  by his wife, the former Catherine Ball, and son, George William,
  Friedens RD 2.  Member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church Boswell and
  Tire Hill Local #998 UMWA.  Retired section foreman for Island Creek
  Coal Company, Tire Hill.  Friends were received Sunday evening and
  will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11
  a.m. Tuesday, Pastors Pat and Chris Ramsey officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions to St. Andrews
  Church would be appreciated.
