Sadowsky, 74, 302 Allegheny St. Boswell, died April 16, 1980, at North Hills Passavant Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born April 7, 1906, in Somerset County, she was a daughter of Edmund and Amanda (Griffith) Jacobs. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Rudolph, who died May 10, 1955; two infant sons; daughter, Mrs. Carol Pendleton; son, Staff Sgt. Lloyd J., killed in action October, 1966, in Vietnam; infant sister; sister, Mary Ellen Deal; and brother, Oron. Survived by these children: Betty Jean, wife of Frank P. Jodlowsky, Mantua, Ohio; Patricia Sweitzer, York; Elfrieda, wife of Micahel Bechek, Allison Park; Walter F., Hammond, La.; David A., Boswell; Amanda L., wife of John Ringler, Linesville; 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Sister of Dwight, Boswell, and Mrs. Bette Bell, Mantua, Ohio. Member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church, Boswell, Wimodausis Rebekah Lodge 217, Somerset. Life member of the LCW, recipient of 20 years of service pin from the American Red Cross, and gold star mother. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell.
