Born Nov. 13, 1927 in Somerset, a son of Harry Vincent and Lydia (Pill) Sager. Preceded in death by parents; four sisters, Edith Freeman, Emma Barclay, Grace Firestone and Eleanor Brown; six brothers, Harry A., Fred, Earl V., Edward, Kenneth and Rex Sager. Survived by children, Donald L. Sager, married to the former Paula Kramer of Somerset and David A. Sager, married to the former Karen Shawley of Rockwood; five grandchildren, Amy L. Sager and Melissa A. Sager of Rockwood, Mrs. Terry (Barbara A.) Firestone of Berlin, Donald L. Sager and wife Kim of Rockwood and David S. Sager and wife Tonya of Rockwood; six great grandchildren, Brittany and David Kimmel, Jonathan and Matthew Firestone, Shantel and Taylor Sager; and a sister, Mrs. Robert (Marian) Drake, Santa Ana, Calif. U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Retired in 1977 as a tractor trailer driver for Sentle Trucking. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Friday, with the Rev. Roger Forry officiating.
