Sager, 54, of Sipesville died Sept. 3 in Somerset Community Hospital. He was born January 2, 1918 in Dotson, Md., a son of the late Harry and Lydia Pill Sager, preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister; survived by his widow, the former Mary Smith, three children, Ronald of Salt Lake City, Utah, Catherine of Rockwood and Hope of California; four step-children, Donald of Somerset, Wayne, Connie and Marie, at home; four grandchildren, eight brothers and sisters, Rex of Listie, Harry of Listie, Donald and Mrs. Emma Barclay of Somerset, RD 1, Earl of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Grace Firestone of Somerset RD 2, Mrs. Eleanor Brown of McKeesport, Mrs. Marion Drake of California. A United States Army veteran of World War II, construction labor union, local 910 of Johnstown, member of Listie Lutheran Church. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Monday in the Wilbur D. Funeral Home where funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m., Rev. Loyce Walker officiating with interment in Casebeer Cemetery.
