Sager, 82, of Friedens RD 1 died Jan. 13, 1990, in the Somerset Hospital. Born Dec. 13, 1907, in Somerset Township, son of the late Harry Vincent and Lydia (Pill) Sager. Preceded in death by his wife, the former Rachel L. "Becky" Alexander-Mort, and daughter, Rose Ann Sager; brothers, Earl, Fred, Edward, Rex and Kenneth and sister, Edith Freeman. Survived by daughters: Mrs. Joyce Paxton of Friedens RD 2, Mrs. Betty Jane Sarver, Friedens RD 1, Mrs. Thomas E. (Donna) Fridy, Somerset RD 5; Mrs. Donald R. (Carol) Gary, Friedens RD 1, and Mrs. Jack D. (Dora) Tipton, Friedens RD 1; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. Orlando J. (Emma) Barclay, Somerset RD 1, Mrs. Clarence (Grace) Firestone, Somerset RD 2; Mrs. Robert (Marion) Drake, Santa Ana, Calif.; Donald Sager, Somerset RD 1, and Mrs. Herbert (Eleanor) Brown of McKeesport. Retired miner from Solar Fuel Co. Member of Listie Grace Brethren Church and the Bakersville-Lavansville Rod and Gun Club. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. Ronzil Jarvis officiating.
