  SALA
  
    Mary E. Sala, 86, of Davidsville, died April 22, 1990, at the
  Allegheny Lutheran Home, Johnstown.  Born July 31, 1903, in Conemaugh
  Township.  She was a daughter of Edward J. and Ella (Livingston)
  Sala.  Preceded in death by parents and sister, Daisy.  Survived by a
  brother, the Rev. Robert Sala, married to the former Hilda Blough,
  Richmond Va.  Several nieces and nephews and several grand nieces and
  nephews.  She was a member of St. David's Lutheran Church, where she
  was active in recent in years with community and church quilting. 
  Longtime employee of Pennsylvania Electric.  Family receiving friends
  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the George E. Mason Funeral
  Home, Davidsville.  Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at
  St. David's Lutheran Church, Davidsville, where remains will lie in
  state from 9:30 until time of service, Rev. Gregory Pile.  Interment,
  Stahl Mennonite Cemetery.
