Saler, 95, formerly of Berlin and Meyersdale, died April 12, 2003 at Siemon Nursing Home, Somerset. Born Oct. 24, 1907 in Grantsville, Md., a daughter of Henry and Annie (Handwork) Yommer. Preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles S. Saler; children Charles Russell and Aleda May; brothers, Cleamon and Alvin[?]; and a sister Alta Bowman. Survived by two children, Charlotte, married to Robert P. Zorn, Berlin, and Ronald L. Sr., married to former Dwella Hinzy, Rockwood; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law Mary Reich Yommer, Jennerstown. She attended the former Fritz Lutheran Church, Meyersdale, and the United Methodist Church, Rockwood. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and bingo. Family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Randall W. Bain and Rev. Ralph G.
