Saler, aged 63, died Monday at his home in Greensburg, where he had resided for some years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Harriet (Will) Saler; a son, Bayard W. Saler, of Ligonier, and a sister, Mrs. Grace Saler Plies, of Steubenville, Ohio. Some years ago, when he was a resident of Meyersdale, in partnership with his brother-in-law, Horace Greeley Will, he was engaged in the furniture and undertaking business under the firm name of Will & Saler. His partner, Mr. Will, died some years ago in New Centerville, the village of his birth. Mr. Saler was preceded in death by several brothers, among them John B. Saler, Albert Saler, and Clark Saler, former residents of Meyersdale. Funeral services were held in the First Christian Church of Greensburg on Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, followed by burial in St. Clair Cemetery near Greensburg.
