Saloka, 64, 492 Dorothy Ave., Johnstown, died Feb. 15, 1988, at Mercy Hospital. He was born Aug. 12, 1923, in Johnstown, son of John S. and Jennie A. (Piroch) Saloka. He was preceded in death by parents; infant daughter, and brother, John. He is survived by wife, former Dorothy Good, to whom he was married for 39 years; and these children: Marlene, wife of the Rev. Richard J. Scott, Pine City, N.J.; Sharon, wife of George Decker, Smithville, Va.; Debbie, wife of Robert Shaffer, Berlin; Susan, wife of James Firm, Joshua, Texas; Greg, married to former Judy Baroni, Chattanooga, Tenn.; and Frank Jr., married to former Virginia Loy, and Tim, married to former Anne Sheridan, both of Hampton, Va.; also 10 grandchildren. He was a brother of Mrs. Ethel Seminsky, Port Richey, Fla.; Mrs. Genevieve Krause, Phoenix, Ariz.; Emil, Chardon, Ohio; Mrs. Mary Jane Barrett, Tabernacle, N.J.; and Edward, Johnstown. He was a retired employee of Wire Mill Division, Bethlehem Steel Corp., Johnstown Plant; Army Air Corps, veteran of World War II; past president of Holy Name Society; member of Ushers; Post 115, VFW; and St. Theresa Catholic Church, where Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Richard Rogan. Interment, St. Stephens Cemetery. Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Broad Street, was in charge of arrangements. The Republic, February 25, 1988 [S0043]
