  Doris Marie Salyers, 61, of Grandin, Fla., formerly of Somerset, died
  April 8, 1987, at her residence.  Born Oct. 21, 1925, in Somerset,
  daughter of the late Cyrus K. and Nora B. (Sivits) Brant.  Preceded
  in death by her husband, John Leroy Salyers; a brother and a
  sister.  Survived by the following children:  Mrs. Judy Bittner,
  married to Patrick J. Krupper, Berlin RD 4; Jeffrey Lee Salyers,
  married to the former Shelia Clements, Grandin, Fla.; a step-son,
  Richard Salyers, married to former Patty Griffith of Stoystown, RD 1;
  six grandchildren:  Gary, married to former Connie Huffman; Julie,
  Jill, Tamela, Lucas and Tanner; two great-grandchildren, Brandon and
  Marcus; and four step-grandchildren.  A sister of Mrs. John (Hester)
  Mack, Mrs. Earl (Winifred) Baer, Claude L. Brant, Keith H. Brant and
  Mrs. Peg Revello, all of Somerset; and Forest R. Brant of
  Meyersdale.  Member of Church of the Brethren.  Friends will be
  received from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral
  Home where funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. with
  the Rev. Wilbur Fischer officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F.
  Cemetery.
