Sanner, 77, of Rockwood, died Aug. 29, 1986, in the Somerset Community Hospital. He was born Nov. 14, 1908, in Summit Township, a son of Nelson and Ida (Marker) Sanner. He is survived by his wife, Violet (Baker) Sanner of Rockwood; one daughter, Mrs. David (Cleta) Shelby of Dallas, Pa.; one brother, Earl, of Leesburg, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Nora Fulmer of Siemon's Home in Somerset; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, four sisters and a son, John. His death terminates a marriage union of 58 years. He was a retired conductor on the former B&O Railroad and a member of the Rockwood Fire Company. Friends were received Sunday from noon until 9 p.m. in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, where services were conducted Monday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. James Roth officiating. Interment followed in the Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Francis Brady supervising. Daily American, September 2, 1986 [S0082]
