  Cora E. Sanner, 78, Rockwood RD 1, died Aug. 22, 1984, in
  Meyersdale.  She was born Nov. 26, 1905, in Rockwood, a daughter of
  Archie and Annie (Barclay) Benford.  She is survived by one daughter,
  Mrs. Herbert (Bernadine) Hoover of Rockwood RD 1; a half-brother,
  Ronald Benford of Rockwood; a step-brother, Bruce Marker of Rockwood;
  one sister, Mrs. Homer (Edna) Brant, Rockwood RD 1; two step-sisters,
  Mrs. Ethel Carolus, Rockwood RD 1; and Blanch Marker of Garrett;
  three grandchildren, Mrs. Thomas (Debra) Roach of Johnstown; Mrs.
  Richard (Kim) Garritson of Odenton, Md.; and Kevin Hoover, Rockwood
  RD 1.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil, March 3,
  1973; also by five brothers and four sisters.  She was a member of
  the United Church of Christ, Rockwood, and also a member of the
  women's guild of the church.  Friends will be received in the William
  J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, from 1 until 9 p.m. Thursday where
  services will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. with her pastor, the Rev.
  Jack Hazlett officiating.  Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery. 
  Arrangements are under the direction of William J. Wood Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, with Robert H. Halverson supervising.
