    Dwight Russell Sanner, 74, Somerset, died Sept. 24, 2006, at Easy Living Estates,
  Ligonier. Born March 27, 1932, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township, the son of the late Wesley
  and Ethel (Fike) Sanner. Also preceded in death by brothers, Lester Dale, Glenn R., Merle
  P. and Joseph "Sonny" Sanner. Survived by daughter, Denise, married to Craig Weaver; and
  son, Kevin, married to the former Betty Jo McDevitt; grandsons, Jason and Jeffrey Thomas;
  Brian and Jimmy Sanner; and step grandchildren, Jennifer and Ryan Weaver. He was a long
  time business owner and mechanic. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and
  was a friend of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Somerset. He received wonderful,
  loving care from the staff of Easy Living Estates during the last nine months of his life
  and for many years from his physician and friend, Dr. Alex Paterson. Friends received from
  2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, where
  a service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. J. Matthew Deal officiating.
  Interment in Kingwood IOOF Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made
  to the Mary S. Biesecker Public Library, 230 S. Rosina Ave., Somerset, PA 15501, or the
  American Cancer Society, 168 W. Union St., Somerset, PA 15501 would be appreciated.
