From the position of the body, which lay between two logs, it appeared that after stepping over one of the logs, using his shotgun as a support, the weapon had been accidentally exploded, the charge of shot entering below the left shoulder and penetrating the heart. The accident happened while he was shooting crows. Elias Sanner was born April 20, 1907. For four years he had worked as a lumberman for Ross Kregar of Kingwood. Besides his parents he is survived by five brothers and four sisters. Meyersdale Republican, June 25, 1931
