  SANNER
  
    Freeman L. Sanner, 87, of Canton, Ohio, formerly of Berlin, died
  June 1, 2000, at Aultman Hospital, Canton.  Born Feb. 28, 1913, in
  Rockwood, son of Norman Bruce and Mattie (Sechler) Sanner.  Preceded
  in death by parents, wife, the former Ellen Pauline Platt, brothers
  Roy and Arthur Sanner and sister Jean Holmgren.  Survived by
  daughters Maxine, of North Canton, Ohio, and Judith, married to James
  Fleming, of Canton, Ohio; grandchildren Timothy and Todd Martz;
  sisters Florence Carpenter of Rockwood, Erma Younkin of Berlin, and
  Sara Gross of Greensboro, N.C.  He was a retired carpenter.  Family
  will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Berlin.  Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at
  Somerset County Memorial Park.  The Rev. Owen Preston officiating.
