"Hank" Sanner, 55, of Normalville RD 1, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 1989. He was born Feb. 19, 1934, in Springfield Township, a son of the late George and Effie (Stillwagon) Sanner. He attended the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Somerset. He was a veteran of the of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean conflict. He was formerly employed by Allied Mills in Everson, Pa. He was a lifetime member of the NRA. He is survived by his wife, Alice (Henry) Sanner; three sons: Richard of Champion; Greg of Berryville, Va.; and Brian of Meyersdale; two daughters: Dorothy Ritenour of Indianhead; and Vicki Barnhart of Berlin; six grandchildren; three brothers: Ben, Wornie and George, all of Normalville; and five sisters: Hattie Horvath of Smithton, Pa.; Birdie May of Normalville; Mabel Sanner of Connellsville; and Rachel Beckner of Melcroft. Friends will be received at the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., Route 711, Melcroft, Pa., from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Additional viewing will take place Saturday at the Apolostic [sic] Church of Jesus Christ in Somerset from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the hour of services, with Bishop Irvin Knieriem officiating.
