He was born Feb. 9, 1895, in Summit Township, a son of Nelson and Ida (Marker) Sanner. Survived by two sons: Dr. M. Que Sanner of Alexandria, Va., and Merle Sanner of Rockwood RD 2; by five daughters: Mrs. Dorothy Kaufman, Somerset RD 1; Mrs. Jacqueline Guerrero, Arlington, Va.; Mrs. Elloise McCormick, Mrs. Shirley Pritchard, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Carol Saville, Haymarket, Va.; also by two brothers: Clyde of Rockwood and Earl of Florida; and one sister Mrs. Nora Fulmer, Donegal; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Emma Vendora Sanner on Sept. 11, 1975; also by three sons: Warren, Chester and Weldon; four brothers: Dennis, Harry, Cecil and Dewey; and five sisters: Mrs. Ann Alberts, Mrs. Grace Curnett, Mrs. Julia Snyder, Mrs. Effie Lockwood and Mrs. Marie Sanner. He was a life-long member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Rockwood. Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home Tuesday 7-9 p.m. where services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Gene Abel officiating. Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
