    Joan L. Sanner, 64, of Rockwood passed away April 19, 2000 at
  Washington (D.C.) Hospital Center.  Born July 24, 1935 in Somerset. 
  Daughter of John and Hazel (Younkin) Barclay.  Preceded in death by
  parents, sons Harry and Kenneth Gerhardt and sister Lois Corcoran. 
  Survived by husband James R. "Bob" Sanner, and sons Gerald Gerhardt
  of Townsend, Del., Joseph (married to Lynette) Metzgar of Rockwood,
  and Robert (married to Hope) Metzgar of Townsend, Del.  Also
  grandchildren Justine (married to Robert) Hay of Rockwood, Robert
  Metzgar Jr. of Townsend, Del. and Kayla, Joshua, Jessica, and
  Michelle Gerhardt of Sikeston, Mo.  Sister of John Barclay of
  Rockwood, Carol Dwire of Derry, and Avis Latuch, Somerset.  Member of
  the Middlecreek Church of the Brethren.  Friends will be received 2 to
  4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Sherman Berkey
  officiating.  Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
