Sanner, 87, Rockdale Road, Garrett, formerly of Rockwood, died May 8, 1998, at his home. Born Dec. 16, 1910 in Rockwood, son of the late George W. and Iva (Cramer) Sanner. Preceded in death by wife, Violet in 1991, and daughters Dolores McDaniel, Iva Lichty, a grandson, Adam Zoldey, brothers Harold and George M. Sanner, and sisters Ora Brown, Audrey White and Mary Baker. Survived by the following children: Glenda Moore, Akron, Ohio; John H. Sanner Jr., Jacksonville, Fla.; Kenneth L. Sanner, Youngstown, Ohio; Audrey Zoldey, Denton, Texas; and Christine Michaud, North Dallas, Texas; 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. Attended Rockwood Church of the Brethren. Member of Somerset County Fly Fisherman's Association. Retired brakeman for the B&O Railroad in 1974. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Monday) at the Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Jay Christner officiating.
