"Red" Sarver, 55, Hillsboro, died Feb. 28, 1993, at home. Born March 5, 1937 in Jeannette, son of the late Grant and Thelma (Anderson) Sarver. Survived by sister, Audrey, wife of Don Hostetler, Hooversville, and brother, Wayne, married to the former Rebecca Nagy, Stoystown; three nieces and three nephews: Juanita Prescott, Cathy Gindlesperger, Marlana Sarver, David Hostetler, Bradley and Jeffrey Sarver; one great-grandniece, Marita Sarver, and one great-grandnephew, Douglas Hostetler. Former mechanic for Laurel Energy Company. Family receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. David Walker. Interment, Custer Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Windber Hospice.
