Sarver, 77, died February 13, 1984, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Maryland. Born in Fairhope, June 16, 1906, he was a son of the late Ross Sarver and Ivana (Miller) Sarver. He was a retired storeroom clerk for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 245, Cumberland, Maryland; the Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks; Ellerslie Volunteer Fire Company for over 25 years, and Redeemer United Church of Christ, Ellerslie. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jennie Mae (Crissey) Sarver; one son, Charles R. Sarver, Wellersburg; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Hutzell and Mrs. Irene Ranker, both of Bowman's Addition; Mrs. Mary Smith, Painesville, Ohio, and Mrs. Rosie Ranker, Oldtown, Md.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, where services were held by the Rev. David W. Long. Interment was in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale, Md.
