Born March 13, 1927, at Cumberland, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Jennie M. (Crissey) Sarver. Sarver was a retired storeroom clerk for CSX Corp. He was a faithful member of his church family, Full Gospel Bible Church, Meyersdale. He will be greatly missed but his surviving family takes solace in the knowledge of the heavenly reunion to come. Surviving are his wife, Carol S. (Lazure) Sarver; three sons: Charles H. Sarver and wife Carol, Ellerslie, Md.; Barry L. Sarver and wife Nancy, Cumberland, and Marty R. Sarver, Wellersburg; a daughter, Rhonda E. Sarver, Wellersburg, and her fiance, Mike Klepitch, Cumberland; four grandchildren: Tracey A. Sarver and wife Betsy, Cumberland; LaRae K. Moore and husband Royce, Hyndman; Misty M. Sarver and fiance David Dyer, Cumberland, and Shane R. Sarver, Frostburg, Md.; and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, where services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Dwight Yinkey and Rev. James Davis officiating. Interment, Pine Hill Lutheran Cemetery near Berlin. Memorials may be sent to Wellersburg or Mount Savage Fire Department or the Full Gospel Bible Church.
