Born Feb. 1, 1929, in Somerset, a son of the late Daniel and Goldie (Moore) Sarver. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Nellie (Moore) Sarver; his children, Wayne (Denise) Sarver of Lawrenceville, Ga., Cheryl (Edward) Mitchell of Kent, Ohio, and David (Shawn) Sarver of Apple Valley, Calif.; brother, Daniel (Faye) Sarver Jr., Bakersville; sisters, Shirley (Arthur) Brougher, Somerset, and Delores McConnell, Friedens. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Harrison retired from Chrysler in 1990. He was the owner of Sarver Tire in Kent for more than 50 years and served as the president of the Northern Tire Dealers and Retreaders Association. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II and attended Kingdom Hall church in Kent. He was known for his sense of humor and his willingness to help others. Harrison enjoyed everything about tires and fishing. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Wood- Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, Ohio, where funeral services will be officiated by Elder Wayne Vanaman at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
