Sarver Sr., 74, of Berlin, died July 22, 2001 at his residence. Born May 9, 1927 in Berlin, son of Glenn W. and Margaret A. (Donner) Sarver. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Florence, and two infant sisters. Survived by children Cathy, married to Rick Webreck and James Jr., married to the former Barbara Hartman, both of Berlin; grandchildren Kara, married to Greg Cornell Jr., Amanda and Jamey Sarver and Krista and Matthew Webreck; great-granddaughter Brooke Cornell and sister Phyllis, married to Walter Schott, Aberdeen, S.D. A retired supervisor at Snyder's of Berlin. Army veteran of World War II. Member of V.F.W. Robert Walker Post 7295 of Berlin, Berlin Vol. Fire Dept. and long-time supporter and member of the Berlin Football Boosters Club. Graduate of Berlin High School Class of 1945. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. Melvin A. Kirk Jr. officiating.
