Florence Sarver, 73, Berlin, died Oct. 5, 1999, at Somerset Hospital. Born Dec. 11, 1925 in Brothersvalley Township, daughter of Russell and Mary (Ringler) Shultz. Preceded in death by parents, half-sister, Margaret Thomas, stepbrother, Wayne Shultz and stepsisters, Helen Wallace and Ann Swearman. Survived by husband of 52 years, James W. Sarver Sr., and these children, Cathy, married to Rick Webreck, and James Jr., married to the former Barbara Hartman, both of Berlin; grandchildren, Kara, married to Greg Cornell Jr., Amanda and Jamey Sarver, and Krista and Matthew Webreck. Sister of Lois Saylor, Berlin, and Roy Shultz, Meyersdale. Half-sister of Helen Lichty and Mary Smith, both of Berlin. Stepsister of Ruth Butler, Meyersdale, and Dorothy Casteel, Arizona. Retired from the former Maple Mountain Manor. Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, where she had served on council. Long-time member and president of Berlin Area Ambulance Association. Member of Berlin Firemen's Auxiliary, Berlin Lady Rebekah Lodge and Pius Spring Women's Club. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., Friday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, Rev. Melvin A. Kirk Jr. Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
