  SARVER, Roger L.  (Spanky)  05/09/07   Daily American
  
     Roger L. "Spanky" Sarver, 52, Schellsburg, went to be with his Lord May 7,2007, at
  home. Mr.Sarver was born Dec. 15, 1954, in Somerset, the son of the late Telford
  L. and  Della Mae (Frampton) Sarver. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jenny on May
  11, 1979. Roger was the husband of Tina R. (Halbrock) Sarver, whom he married June 14,
  1975. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Glenden L. Sarver husband, of
  Stacy Walters, New Paris; Meade E. Sarver, Schellsburg; sisters, Joyce Bowser, Berlin,
  Christine Wentz, Somerset, and Lori Barron, Meyersdale; brothers, Allen Sarver Jr.,
  Somerset; David Sarver, Hancock, Md.; and Telford Sarver Jr., Friedens. He is also
  survived by a granddaughter, Emily J. Sarver, reared by Mr. and Mrs. Sarver, and other
  grandchildren, Ethan, Zachery, Kameron, Keaton, Tyler and Turner. Roger was a coal
  truck driver at for various trucking companies in Somerset County. He was a member of
  Christ Victory Church of New Buena Vista and the BPOE Aerie 1801 of Somerset. Friends are
  invited to call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Mickle-
  Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg. Visitation also from 10 to 10:30 a.m., the time of
  funeral service Friday at Christ Victory Church. The Rev. Kerry Cathers officiating.
