SYLVESTER SARVER

  Sylvester Sarver, 78, of Berlin, R.D., died last Sunday at his home.
  He was born July 8, 1869, the son of the late John and Matilda (Flamm) Sarver, 
of Somerset County.
  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie (Keefer) Sarver, and the following 
children: Mrs. Cora Bridges, Mrs. Margaret Bradshaw, Freeman and John Sarver, 
all of Dayton, Ohio; Fred Sarver and Mrs. Helen Harding, Pittsburgh, and Mrs. 
Henry Harris, Salisbury; also these brothers and sisters: William, Jacob, Frank 
and Harry Sarver, all of Berlin; Oliver Sarver, Somerset; Mrs. R. J. Stevanus, 
Mrs. Harry Altfather, and Mrs. Shannon Brick of Berlin, and Mrs. William Thorpe 
of Rockwood.   
  Funeral services were held in the Johnson Funeral Home, Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 
2:30 p.m., Rev. Ira R. Harkins officiating.  Interment in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
