Sarver, 74, of Farmington, Pa., died Friday, Aug. 24, 1990. Born in Somerset County Jan. 23, 1916. Son of the late Artie and Georgia Matilda Felton Sarver. He was a member of Laurel Mountain Baptist Church, the Ohiopyle Grange and United Mine Workers of America. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheila; a sister, Daisy; and two brothers, Merle and Edison. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lytle Sarver; son Donald and his wife Nellie of Marklesburg; two daughters, Patricia Cottrell, Willoughby, Ohio, and Marjorie and husband Edward Detrick of Farmington; two brothers, Artien of Confluence and Howard of Markleysburg; four sisters, Verna Miglets, Youngstown, Ohio; Hazel Morrison and Ruth Devanney, both of Ohiopyle; and Caroline Shell of Rogers, Ohio; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Thomas M. Dolfi Funeral Home, 136 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Pa., on Sunday 7-9, Monday 2-4 and 7-9 and Tuesday until 11 a.m., the hour of service with pastor James Hickle and pastor Clifford Sarver officiating.
