  SAUER
  
    John E. Sauer, 71, of Hudson, Fla., formerly of McMurray, Pa., died
  Aug. 29, 1998, at home.  Sauer was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved
  to Florida 13 years ago from McMurray.  He was a self-employed
  home-improvement contractor and a World War II Merchant Marine
  veteran.  He was a member of VFW Post 4412, Hudson, Fla. and a
  Mason.  Survived by his wife, Betty; four sons:  John L. and Louis F.
  of Washington, Pa., Jeffrey E. of New Port Richey, Fla. and Ronald D.
  of Puerto Rico; two daughters:  Janet A. Sauer-Peters of Somerset,
  and Diane L. Kvasnicka of Broomfield, Co.; his brother, Regis F.
  Sauer of Mt. Washington; a sister, Deloris Hoppert of Euclid, Ohio;
  12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  A memorial service
  will be held at 10 a.m. today at Bell Funeral Home in Hudson, Fla. 
  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory
  to Pasco-Hernando Hospice, 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, Fla.
