    Alexander J. Sauers, 77, 22808 Raymond Court, St. Clair Shores,
  Mich., formerly of Boswell, died April 5, 1990, at home.  Born July
  21, 1912, in Verona, son of Stanley and Joanna (Machaj)
  Kwasniewski.  Preceded in death by parents and one brother.  Survived
  by wife former Helen C. Staffy, daughter, Sandra, widow of Ferdinand
  Macey, St. Clair Shores, four sisters; Stella, Leana, Josephine, and
  Mary.  Member of St. Gertrude's Catholic Church, St. Clair Shores,
  retired from Lincoln Tool and Die, Detroit, Navy Veteran of WW 2. 
  Would have observed 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 28, 1990.  Friends
  received from noon to 4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Main St. Boswell, where wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
  Sunday.  Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. Monday at St. Stanislaus
  Catholic Church, Boswell.  Father Hilary Brzostowsky O.F.M. Conv. 
  Interment, St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
